As everyone is aware I’m a virtual assistant by trade but my first job is being a mom! Yes the struggle is real at work, but boy the struggles are definitely real being a mom! I have said over the years that I wish someone had given me the book on raising a teenager, as it wasn’t easy. Some days were great and some days were hair-raising! Looking back at everything now, I’m thankful for God blessing me with 2 beautiful sons and I couldn’t be any prouder than that, but thank God that I’ve survived the dreadful teenage years!!
Yesterday was a very proud day as my baby (haha he’s actually 17yrs old but still and always will be my baby!!) entered into The Delayed Enlistment Program (DEP) going Navy. Couldn’t be any prouder than seeing him stand there and watching him being sworn in! Now since he won’t be graduating until December 21st, he won’t actually go in until beginning of 2018. In the meantime the Navy will prepare him and start the transformation, so when that time comes he will be prepared.
So what does this have to do with being a virtual assistant… a whole lot! Virtual Assistant’s don’t only work with clients, but they work with partners, with significant others and most of all WE work with our children. Our experience isn’t just at work, but as being a wife or husband and being the BEST mother or father one can be and for that I am A PROUD MOM!
God Bless the U.S.A.
